Redux Project 03: Scarborough Fair Replica - Progress 03

UV's are all done! I had to take care of other business, but I was able to finish up this one today. I plan to do a nice rendered turnaround over night and then post the final on my website. Otherwise, this one is all done, next up for a touch up will be the crab done for PRM last year.

Redux Project 01: Scarborough Fair Replica - Progress

And here it is, the first of the projects I plan to redo. This model was a personal project I did for fun about a year and a half ago. I've learned a lot since then about creating 3D assets and since I created this after having been in Maya for only a month, I wanted to come back and make it more game engine friendly. I had a lot of topology issues, normals issues, and some of the model was made of flat plans that made it really hard to UV properly. I've started to retopologize the gun itself and hope to soon have it textured and have it be a game ready model. The first picture is a screenshot of the model when I called it finished way back when, and the rest of the images are where I am at now with the wire frame.

Character Blockout

While this is a new concept I have been playing around with in my free time, I have decided to go back to my old unfinished projects to polish them. So for now, to prove Im still alive and kicking here's the blockout of a personal project.

IM A VIDEO, TOO!

Character Update: Body Blockout

An update on my mountain character, I have started blocking out her body and cloth. While I do plan to do a braid, I started messing with different hair styles to see how they looked. Her face is pretty much done and retopologized. More updates soon.

2D Concepts for Mountain Character

These are concepts I did for the mountain character (yet to be named) that I have been working on. Hopefully soon I can do colored versions of her so I can have a nicer, cleaner version for final concepts.
